The joys of research~

The Paris Conservatoire (from an 1880s etching), one of the finest concert halls in Paris, in an era when musical celebrity was the equivalent of today’s movie-star status. Yes, we are researching music and performance in the 1830s as part of our new series, and what fun it is! Perhaps a research trip is in order… London, Paris, Vienna, Milan…

Daydreaming aside, there will be more of this: digging up nuggets of information and distilling them through the alchemy of our imaginations, into story.
