Here it is! Ougon no Hana Saku Tani de (In the Valley of Golden Flower), the cover for our Japanese edition of Passionate.

We are thrilled to see this – our original title for the book was Fortune’s Flower, so it’s fun to have flowers back in the title. And all over the cover, too.

Release day is apparently July 21st, so tell all your Japanese friends to run out and get a copy~

Foreign Sales!

Exciting news! Our publisher has sold foreign editions of our books. PASSIONATE has sold to Japan, and ALL HE DESIRES to Thailand. When we get the cover images, we’ll post them. For added fun, Anthea’s brother is married to a lovely Japanese woman, and he is fluent in the language. Perhaps the age-old question will be answered at last — what parts are lost in translation? It will be especially interesting to see in terms of different cultural approaches to romance and intimacy. Stay tuned…

Critiquing for Spring

We’ll be teaching an online course in May through the Hearts Through History online campus. Our class, Critique and Collaboration, will run May 3-14 and will include basics of critiquing, recognizing and accepting your own strengths and weaknesses, the pleasures and pitfalls of writing together, how to get the most from your critique partners, and ground rules that every critique group should have. Romance Reader’s Lunch and Booksigning

Anthea will be in Portland this Saturday, April 17th, signing books and meeting readers at the Rose City Romance Reader’s Luncheon.

It will be a fabulous event with dozens of authors, good food, the great venue of the Governor Hotel, and only a few blocks from the fabulous Powell’s City of Books.

Come hear our Irish band FIDDLEHEAD on Wednesday, March 17th, 5 – 6:30, at McMenamin’s Olympia Club in Centralia, WA. We’ll be celebrating this fine holiday with songs and tunes and some fabulous dancing from the Slieveloughane Irish Dancers.

Mammoth Book of Regency Romance!

We’ve been asked to contribute a short story to the Mammoth Book of Regency Romance which will be out this summer. Our story, The Piano Tutor, features a dash of music, a sweet scoop of romance, and the spice of a secret identity. We had a great time writing it, and are looking forward to the publication of this collection. We’ll be in the company of such notable writers as Anna Campbell, Lorraine Heath, and Candice Hern.
